A permanent exhibition in Walsall Central Library and Museum exploring and documenting Walsall’s heritage—”The Town of a Hundred Trades”. The town grew up amongst the canals and railways in the cradle of the Industrial Revolution and the exhibition celebrates the sheer diversity of industry and ingenuity of Walsall’s manufacturing base, charting the town’s development through the two world wars and up to its multicultural life today.
